AMX/Crestron Programmer Job Description:
Our client is the nation’s premier AV system design and integration company, fielding multiple teams of experts that include engineers, project managers, CAD technicians and other construction and audiovisual industry professionals. Working closely with architects, designers, facilities managers and both IT and construction professionals, our client designs, builds and installs world-class audiovisual environments for all forms of presentation, communication and collaboration.
DUTIES:
Candidate will be required to perform programming tasks timely and w/ quality - control systems programming, touch panel design, etc. Candidate will interact with Design and project engineers to understand and work with schematics and architectural blueprints. Trouble shoot the functional system as needed for various clients. Field installation and programming of AMX and Crestron Systems - up load and down load capability. Candidate will diagnose complex problems and provided solutions. Ability to test the integrated system and document accordlingly. Candidate will maintain 85% of their time in performing the programming function!
EDUCACTION: BS Electrical Engineering preferred, but not necessary. These programmers can have a long career in actually programming, so may have short careers in programming, but be highly educated.
Advanced knoweldge of signal flow for audio and visual control. Axcess, netlinx, simpl, simpl Windows and Simpl+. MOST IMPORTANT IS AMX AND CRESTRON. AMX is more desirable, but the candidate should have some knowledge of Crestron.
2+ years of experience is requried.
Essentials of Crestron Programming, Polycom vortex technical training, BSS Audio Soundweb, Tandberg and Polycom courses, Lutron Commercial Lighting Controls.
